All Nations Under God - Romans 13

All nations are created by God and will one day come and worship before Him (Psalm 86:9). However, until that day comes, Psalms 2 describes the nations as saying, “Let us break their bands, and cast away their cords from us” - that is, let us break the restraints that God and His Anointed have placed on us. Globally we see men rebelling against God and His divinely ordained institutes.  We also see governments, corporations and individuals abusing their God given power.  This takes place at many levels.  

Today we will explore our Christian responsibilities toward government.  First, by examining our God ordained responsibilities listed in Romans 13 and 1 Timothy 2:1-3. Second, we will then explore when, . . . if ever, there is a time that Christians should become involved in civil disobedience.
