Asa: When Pride Gets in the Way - 2 Chronicles 14-15

Oct 9, 2022    Dr. Craig P. Scott

How can a godly man or woman become so distant from God that they no longer pray, no longer look for His guidance, no longer walk as they once did with the Lord?
Now I do not know all the reasons why Asa, the Old Testament King of Judah turned his back on the Lord. However, there are a few clues given in our text that might shed some light on this subject.
This passage serves as a warning to believers. It is possible to get to the point that we stop praying, stop listening, and stop obeying the Lord. In fact, it is possible to drift to the point the point of opposing God.
