Parables Part 4 - Matthew 13:33, 44-52

In the Parable of the Sower we found that only a few will truly be receptive to the gospel. We also learned in the parable of the of the wheat and tares that good and evil will co-mingle in the church until the day Christ returns.  Both saved and unsaved will make up the Church on the earth before Christ comes back.  In the third parable on the Mustard Seed we discovered that a form of Christianity will cover the earth but it will be a mixed bag of false and true believers (Matthew 13:31-32). Today we will learn that the kingdom of heaven is likened to a woman who hides leaven in three measures of meal, which in time will permeate the entire loaf.
