Your Body: The Temple of God - 1 Corinthians 6:6-20

This building is not “The Sanctuary." You are God’s Sanctuary, that is, if you are God’s child, God’s Spirit resides in you. He goes everywhere you go. The Holy Spirit came with us when we entered this building, and He will go with us when we leave this building. But the early assembly of believers forgot this truth and were reengaging in the immoral pagan practices of the world. Their sin problem resulted in them lacking in their personal sanctification. It was a problem then, and it is a serious problem today. This morning we will look at Paul's warning as he reminds them and us that we are “bought with a price’ and we are to “glorify God in our body, and in our spirit, which are God’s.”
