Spiritual Gifts - Part 2 - 1 Corinthians 12:4-31
In Chapters 12 the Apostle deals with the issue of spiritual gifts. No area of doctrine is more important to the spiritual health and effectiveness of the church. That is, apart from the empowering of God’s Spirit at salvation nothing is more vital to believers than the ministry of the Spiritual gifts. Their God-given endowments for Christian’s service are all wrapped up in this subject.
A true church is made up of born-again believers and every person within the church makes up a living organization called the body of Christ—Christ is the supreme head; we make up the body. If you are saved today, you are part of a supernatural organism created, established, empowered and led by the Lord Himself. Every member of the believing church has been given a supernatural gift of the Holy Spirit. Though the enabling power of the Holy Spirit, every person is given the ability to minister to one another so God’s Word will go forth. God uses His people. God empowers His people to carry out His work so we can grow spiritually, we can effectively worship, witness, and serve our Lord
True spiritual gifts are given by God to strengthen the church, manifest Christ, while demonstrating harmony power and love.
